Uh Oh. She's starting early....
I found Brooklyn walking around like this the other morning. She wore my high heel for probably 20 minutes all around the house. I think she takes after her mom :)

Last weekend we took the kids down to the local park. There is this creek that runs under a bridge and the kids always want to go down and play. They had a lot of fun playing and splashing. Brooklyn is definitely a water kid. She wanted to go out into the deep water where there is a pretty good current. Tim was fighting the whole time just to make her keep holding his hand. The boys loved all the rocks and bugs and little fish. I think they would have brought one home if I had let them.

I scream, you scream...

We've had some really nice days recently and have loved taking advantage and going outdoors whenever we can. For family night treats the other night we whipped out the ice cream cones for the first time this season. Brooklyn thought it was the greatest thing ever.
She had to try Tanners...
Don't worry, she was sharing too....
Here Kaden, do you want some?
I was lucky enough to get a big sticky kiss. Wouldn't trade it for anything!
Hope you all are looking forward to summer as much as we are. May this be the first of many ice cream cones!

Milestones...

Kaden decided this was it! This was the year he was going to take off the training wheels and learn to ride his bike! (It helped that mom ran over one of the training wheels so the bike wouldn't really stand up straight anyways)
Here he is getting ready to go...
A little hard to get going...
And he is off...
You picked it up so quick Kaden. Great job! We are so proud of you.

Mothers Day

We had a great Mothers Day weekend. It seemed we were celebrating all weekend long. On Friday I got to go to Kaden's class for a Mothers Day activity. He had made me a corsage, pictures and planted a flower. It was great. Thanks Kaden.
On Sunday I got to wear my corsage to church and Tanner made me a flower to wear in my hair. I have the best boys in the world. Tim made a yummy dinner and I got to relax.
One of the best gifts was these little books the boys made in primary. They wrote down information about their moms. So cute I have to share...
1. How do you know your mom loves you?
Tanner- she plays a game with me
Kaden- she lets me stay up and watch a movie
2. How old is your mom?
Tanner- about 31
Kaden- 15 (lets hope I look 15 years younger when I am 60)
3. What makes your mom happy?
Tanner- watching movies on the computer (I promise I really don't do this a lot)
Kaden- my brother and me and my dad
4. What is your mom really good at?
Tanner- runing on the tredmeal
Kaden- cooking and washing dishis (I should be... I get enough practice :)
5. What is your moms favorite food?
Tanner- I don't know but I bet it is lasonya
Kaden- evere food but macurone (true)
6. What do you and your mom do together?

Easter Fun!

We had a great easter this year. We were really busy and seemed to have some kind of Easter activity all weekend long. Here are a few things we did.
Easter Morning ready to go and see the goodies from the Easter bunny.
I think they were excited! I don't know how much Brooklyn understood, but she loved her Dora color wonder book.
We had an Easter egg hunt and carnival with a bunch of friends. There was a live bunny that Brooklyn couldn't leave alone.
Here are the eggs we decorated this year. The boys had a lot of fun making them into monsters.

Egg hunt at the local park. It was a bit chilly, but they still had a lot of fun and came home with a basketfull of eggs.
