Christmas

I love Christmas! I love the smell of cinnamon and cider, the sounds of Christmas music and the ambient light of the tree.  I get so excited picking out gifts for my children while I imagine the looks on their faces when they open them.  I am definitely a "put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving" person and we celebrate all month long.  There is so much fun to be had during the holiday season! My favorite thing about Christmas though is the love and warmth and family.  The acts of kindness and extra hugs between siblings, their happiness about giving a gift to a brother or sister, Christmas devotionals at church, reading Luke 2 as a family and the opportunity to teach again the story of our Saviors birth to my little ones.  Christmas is a time for family and joy! Here are some of our highlights...
It is not Christmas until you have seen Santa!

Brooklyn had her preschool program at school.  She was a snowman.

My cute brother and sister-in-law sent a cookie making kit to my kids for Christmas.  Drew was very creative with the names of each item. I think the favorite were the little green elf boogies.  My kids laughed so hard :)

Our traditional Christmas Eve gift (pajamas this year).
 The anticipation of Christmas morning...
 thanks Santa!

Christmas thank you's are the best!

We hope you all had as wonderful a Christmas as we did!
