Lately....

The boys had an art fair at their school. We got to go and see a bunch of their work hung up in the hallways. These were some of our favorites.

Tanners class put on a spring musical and he was lucky enough to be chosen for a small group singing part. We worked really hard for a few weeks to memorize his part. He did fantastic! Great job Tanner!
Brooklyn has decided she loves being a girl and has fully embraced everything girly from pink and purple to jewels, shoes and accessories.
If there is anything shiny or sparkly around the house she finds a way to put it on her body!

Last winter hurrah!

After some unseasonably warm weather we were treated to one last snow. The kids of course wanted to take full advantage and head right out. Even though there wasn't a ton of snow they had a lot of fun! Brooklyn had the best seat in the house. She loved it and they couldn't pull fast enough.
Our little snow bunny!
Yum!
She is blessed to have the best big brothers in the world.
See you next year snow.

So last night we had a really fun girls night out. We got together for a Valentines Day exchange/party. We each had to bring enough valentines to exchange. I had a lot of fun making mine. The center of the flowers were various pink and red nail polishes and the dirt was a chocolate bridge mix. Yum!

Thanks to Heather and all the girls for a fun night out!

Ice Day!!

So we got this pretty major ice storm this week. The boys thought it was awesome because everything was covered in ice and school was canceled for 3 days. Mom and Dad didn't think it was so awesome because everything was covered in ice and school was cancelled for 3 days!
Amazing how different 2 perspectives can be right? We did what we could to keep everyone having fun and occupied.

We built a huge tent in the middle of the family room. We played, watched movies and even slept in it.

Trip to Utah

We had so much fun in Utah. It is always great to see the whole family. We love you all so much and are already counting down the days until we get together again. One of the best memories we have from this year is teaching the boys how to ski. Kaden had fun, but struggled a little bit down the mountain. He would get so easily frustrated and not want to keep going. Thanks to Grandpa and Daddy for the patience. He ended the day on a high note so that is what counts. Tanner took to it like a natural. He is in love and can't wait to go back. He got to go quite a few days while we were out there and had a blast. Now he is having a hard time deciding if he still wants to be a doctor or switch to professional skiing. We are gently encouraging him towards the former with the argument that doctors can ski too. Thanks Grandpa for sharing one of your hobbies with the boys. They will always have fond memories of you and going skiing together.

Toilet Paper Fun!

Brooklyn you are so cute, but I must say your obsession with toilet paper is a little eyebrow raising. We constantly find it strewn through the bathroom and unrolled all over the floor. Any chance you get in the bathroom you go strait to that little silver holder. Here is what you did the other day.

Oooh.... look what I found! It is fun to play with, but doesn't taste very good.

Maybe I can wear it. Am I pretty mom?
I bet I can stuff it all in here.
What fun!!

October Fun

I can't believe October is over already. We had a great month and thought we would share a few moments with you all. The highlight of the month for Tanner was of course his birthday. He wanted a pizza party so we went all out and did a pizza cake as well.
Here he is with his favorite present. An I-pod charger/radio/clock etc. Now we all get to listen to Tanner's music! Yeah!
Here are the boys having fun at the park. They had to try to make a basket while fighting the resistance of someone pulling them back from the other side. You could see Tanners competitiveness come out just a little bit.

The weekend before Halloween we got to travel to Pittsburgh and visit Ashley and the boys. We had such a great time. We got to go and do a ton of fun things. We went to her ward trunk-r-treat. Brooklyn didn't understand it all but had a great time anyways.
One place we went was the science center. The kids had so much fun. Brooklyn just wanted to go go go. Tim discovered a great way to keep control of her. She loved it too!
